Pharmacy Technician-In-Training:

1. Be at least 18 years of age
2. No felony or gross misdemeanor conviction relating to controlled substances within 36 months
3. Have no history of drug abuse or provide satisfactory evidence of rehabilitation
4. High school diploma or equivalent
5. Apply for training permit within 10 days of starting on-the-job training: fill out application and pay fee
6. Must apply for Pharmacy Technician within 2 years

Pharmacy Technician

1. Be at least 18 years of age
2. No felony or gross misdemeanor conviction relating to controlled substances within 36 months
3. Have no history of drug abuse or provide satisfactory evidence of rehabilitation
4. High school diploma or equivalent
5. PTCB certification
6. Obtain license fro the Board: fill out application and pay license fee
7. Annual renewal required
