How to become a pharmacy technician in Oklahoma

  1. High school diploma or GED
  2. Complete "Phase 1" initial on-the-job training, then apply for permit: fill out application and pay permit fee
  3. Complete "Phase 2" on-the-job training within 90 days of receiving permit

Although PTCB certification is not required by the state of Oklahoma, there are many benefits of becoming certified such as higher salary and greater marketability.
