How to become a pharmacy technician in Montana

  1. High school diploma or an equivalency certificate
  2. 18 years of age or older
  3. PTCB or ICPT certification required (if applying for pharmacy technician-in-training, have 18 months to obtain certification)
  4. Register with the Board: fill out application, pay registration fee, provide passport size photo, and 3 character references (required within 18 months if registering for pharmacy technician-in-training)
