1. Register with the State Board: fill out registration application and pay registration fee AFTER you become employed
2. High school diploma or equivalent or enrolled in a school supervised program
3. Pass background check
4. At least 16 years old
5. Renewable 2 times

Certified Pharmacy Technician:

1. Register with the State Board: fill out registration application and pay registration fee
2. National certification completed through PTCB or ExCPT
3. High school diploma or equivalent
4. Pass background check
5. Renew annually
