How to become a pharmacy technician in Connecticut
- Work in a pharmacy
- Receive documented training from a pharmacist manager in a licensed or institutional pharmacy
- Certification through:
- Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) -OR-
- Any other equivalent pharmacy technician certification program approved by the department
- Register with the State Board: fill out application and pay the registration fee
- Renew registration annually
